Seems to work fine under 7.04 after you install bcm43xx-fwcutter. When I installed bcm43xx-fwcutter it prompted me if I want to automatically download and install the firmware and it did it flawlessly (I am running the AMD64 version).

Something is wrong with the Hardy 8.04 Live CD that prevents the wl driver from working properly, but this is fixed in updates. I have had better luck with ndiswrapper using step 2e in Feisty_No-Fluff. A message on bcm43xx-dev about potential future support with the b43 driver. This card was in an HP Pavilion dv2815nr.
