  • LightScribe media

  • Alien package, to install RPM packaged software in Ubuntu. If you don't have it installed or don't know if you do, use this command: sudo apt-get install alien

Installing

    1. LightScribe Host Software for Linux: [http://www.lacie.com/download/drivers/lightscribe-1.4.113.1-linux-2.6-intel.rpm]

    2. LightScribe Labeler for Linux [http://www.lacie.com/download/drivers/4L-1.0-r6.i586.rpm]

  2. Install the packages using Alien
    • {{{sudo alien -i lightscribe-1.4.113.1-linux-2.6-intel.rpm
