This document provides instructions on how to import Microsoft Office document templates into OpenOffice.
Open any of the OpenOffice applications
Click File -> New -> Templates and Documents
Click Organize and select My Templates
Click Commands -> Import Template and browse to the location of the template
Select All files (*.*) from the Files of Type option list
Select the template and click Open. This will import the template into your My Templates directory
Note: Some complicated templates may not display correctly in OpenOffice due to small incompatibilities between OpenOffice and Microsoft Office. However, most templates should be usable.
