Introduction

VariCAD is a CAD program that opens a variety of CAD/ CAM file formats including Autocad DWG files. VariVAD viewer is re distributable proprietary freeware and VariCAD is proprietary.

Install viewer

Tested on Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron) and Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon).

• Download the GCC 4.1 debian package on the varicad download page

• Click OK to open the .deb file with gdebi-gtk (normally default in firefox)
• Click "Install Package"
