Опишите VmwarePlayer-RU. VMWare Player allows you to run virtual computers (called VMs) inside your normal Operating System (eg, Ubuntu). VMWare VMs can run Windows, Linux, Solaris, MacOS, or any other x86 OS.

Installing VMWare Player in Ubuntu

For installing VMware player, install the following package: vmware-player (see InstallingSoftware).

Running Another OS inside VMWare Player

Prebuilt VMs for Ubuntu and other Open Source Operating Systems can be downloaded from http://www.vmware.com/vmtn/appliances/

You can run other Operating Systems, including Windows, inside VMWare player using the following proceedure:

  • Create a VMX file for the Operating System. http://www.easyvmx.com/ Easy VMX can create VMX files for free.

  • Install that OS with the normal installation procedure (booting from install disc, etc)

mount -t usbfs /dev/bus/usb/ /proc/bus/usb или прописать соответствующие строки в fstab
