Een nieuwe gebruiker toevoegen

U kunt meerdere gebruikersaccounts aan uw computer toevoegen. Geef iedereen thuis of op het bedrijf een eigen account. Elke gebruiker heeft zijn eigen persoonlijke map, documenten en instellingen.

Om gebruikersaccounts te kunnen toevoegen dient u beheerder te zijn.

  1. Open the Activities overview and start typing System.

  2. Select Settings ▸ System from the results. This will open the System panel.

  3. Select Users to open the panel.

  4. Klik op Ontgrendelen rechtsboven in de hoek en voer uw wachtwoord in wanneer daar om gevraagd wordt.

  5. Press the Add User... button under Other Users to add a new user account.

  6. Als u wilt dat de nieuwe gebruiker toegang tot de computer heeft als beheerder, kies dan als accounttype Beheerder.

    Beheerders kunnen handelingen verrichten zoals het toevoegen en verwijderen van gebruikers, software en stuurprogramma’s installeren en de datum en tijd wijzigen.

  7. Voer de volledige naam van de nieuwe gebruiker in. De gebruikersnaam wordt automatisch ingevuld op basis van de volledige naam. Als u de voorgestelde gebruikersnaam niet wenst, kunt u het wijzigen.

  8. You can choose to set a password for the new user, or let them set it themselves on their first login. If you choose to set the password now, you can press the generate password icon to automatically generate a random password.

    To connect the user to a network domain, click Enterprise Login.

  9. Click Add. When the user has been added, Parental Controls and Language settings can be adjusted.

Als u het wachtwoord wilt wijzigen nadat u het account heeft aangemaakt, selecteer dan het account, ontgrendel het paneel en klik op het invoerveld Wachtwoord.

In the Users panel, you can click the image next to the user’s name to the right to set an image for the account. This image will be shown in the login window. The system provides some stock photos you can use, or you can select your own or take a picture with your webcam.
