MacBook 1,1 and Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope)
This page aims to describe the steps needed, to fully enable all features of the 1st Generation MacMacBook (release date: early 2006) when using Ubuntu 9.04, Jaunty Jackalope.
You can find out, what model you have by typing at the terminal:
sudo dmidecode -s system-product-name

Wireless (AirPort)
Airport work out-of-the-box with the Atheros driver included in the newer kernel. To check kernel's modules type in a terminal:
$ lsmod|grep ath ath5k 107008 0 mac80211 217080 1 ath5k led_class 12036 2 ath5k,applesmc cfg80211 38800 2 ath5k,mac80211
