MacBookPro 10,1 and Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise Pangolin)

The Macbook Pro 10,1 is only recently released. However, it is possible to run Ubuntu 12.04 Precise on it. For now please refer to: <br> As always, please be especially careful to setup your fan control first. Especially this MBP gets hot very fast.

This page aims to describe the steps needed, to fully enable all/most features of the 15.3 (mbp 10,1) and probably other 10-th Generation MacBookPro (release date: June 2012) when using Ubuntu 12.04, Precise Pangolin.

sudo dmidecode -s system-product-name

If you have a different model, please go here and find the right wiki.
