MacBook 2,1 and Ubuntu 15.10 (Wily)
This page aims to describe the steps needed, to fully enable all features of the 2nd Generation MacBook (release date: late 2006, mid 2007) when using Ubuntu 15.10, Wily Werewolf.
You can find out, what model you have by typing at the terminal:
sudo dmidecode -s system-product-name

Overview
Anything that worked in Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick) probably still works in Ubuntu 15.10. For the sake of thoroughness, however, only those features which have been tested in 15.10 will have a checkmark below. Anything not mentioned here probably already works out of the box. If not, please refer to the Ubuntu Apple Users forum.

Wireless (AirPort)
Works great out of the box. Connects to WPA2/PSK without problems.
Suspend & Hibernate
Works, wireless stopped working after resuming from suspend.
iSight
Just extract the proprietary driver using the isight-firmware-tools package. For more detailed instructions, see AppleiSight.
Touchpad (appletouch)
Works great out of the box. Including two-finger scrolling.
External Monitor
Function Keys
Work perfectly. No extra setup required.
Microphone
