MacBookPro 3,1 and Ubuntu 14.04 (Trusty Tahr)



This page aims to describe the steps needed, to fully enable all features of the 3rd Generation MacBookPro (release date: late 2007) when using Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr.

Basically everything installed, and configured automatically. The function keys require you to hit 'fn + F1' to get the F1 key. If not you will get the brightness decrease.
